Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know about our services and procedures
What motivates so many people to travel to other countries for dental procedures?
Firstly, many individuals opt for this option because their insurance does not cover dental implant procedures. As a result, they seek treatment in foreign countries, where the cost of such services can be as low as one-third or one-fourth of what it would cost in their countries. Dental tourism provides a cost-effective solution without compromising on quality for these individuals. Secondly, another motivation for traveling abroad for dental procedures is the opportunity to combine a vacation with cost savings on dental treatments. In most cases, individuals can cover the expenses of a one or two-week vacation while simultaneously receiving all necessary dental work, ultimately saving money compared to undergoing the same procedures in their home countries.

Will I need a temporary replacement for my teeth while the implants integrate?
In most cases, yes. The recommended approach is to provide a temporary replacement for missing teeth after the implant placement. This typically involves a removable partial or complete denture. Since the gum anatomy undergoes significant changes during the healing months following surgery, it is best to opt for a temporary solution that can be adjusted accordingly. If you prefer a more permanent option, we can create transitional bridges that utilize the adjacent teeth as retainers. These can later be replaced with individual crowns.
Why do I need to return after a few months to complete my dental implants?
After the implant is surgically placed in your jawbone, bone cells gradually grow around its threads and eventually harden into bone. This biological process, known as osteointegration, is crucial for the long-term success of the implant. Waiting for several months allows the implant to fully integrate with the surrounding bone before the final crown placement. Immediate loading of the implant can compromise its success and stability. Therefore, the follow-up appointment is necessary to ensure optimal result.
